We are an established agency and commenced trading as Albany Investigations in 1993. As our business operations developed we became incorporated in 1999, now "Albany Investigations Ltd". The same management structure throughout has been in place and we have many years of former police and military experience behind us before entering the private sector. Albany Investigations Ltd is a company well recognised throughout the UK by relevant legal sections, insurance companies and local authorities.

Our managing director, Michael Cornwall, is a former police officer and a full member of the Association of British Investigators, which is the foremost professional body within our industry. The ABI is a self-governing body who ensures that our business provides a competent and legal service. Membership is reliant upon applicants undergoing examination, vetting and demonstrating significant experience as a private investigator. We belong to the association out of choice and adhere to their rules and regulations. A 2nd director is a former British Army Sergeant with considerable experience within the security services throughout the world and is a member of the PBA (Professional Bodyguards Association). Personal security has been operationally rendered professionally in many other countries. Other organisational membership includes EPIC / NARPO / IKD.
